Gallery Information

Here in There-is-Light, we have 5 different gallery folders for our art.

Our goal for submitted art is to bring a smile to the face of our watchers and members and to encourage individual thinking.
For, after all, it is the little things that count.

Here is a description explaining each gallery and what sorts of things can be submitted to each one.

   Featured This is were we put art that our members created that are particularly inspirational or stunning. This is a special honor and not just any art will be put into this category.

Motivational Messages This folder is for deviations with messages that really speak to the viewer. Things like typography, photography with words,  or drawings with words can be in this section. The key thing to remember when submitting art to this gallery is WORDS. If it's got words, it's okay for this. If not, there is a better folder for it.

Art that Speaks for Itself This folder is for things that really make you think or that inspire you, but do not contain words in the deviation. Basically, things you would put in motivational messages but just without any written words on it. (;

Other Basically, anything that you really like and think will make others smile but doesn't fit in any of the other folders.

Art we are Proud Of This folder is particularly special. This one is reserved for our members who wish to share a piece of art they are particularly proud of. It doesn't have to be motivational or emotional, but it can just be a drawing that you really like how it turned out.
However, we ask that you limit your submissions to this folder to once a week.
